At ADDA, our workshops are designed as immersive two-day experiences.

Depending on the workshop, participants explore technique, repertoire, and the creative process with our international faculty and guests. Whether you’re a professional dancer or an advanced student, each intensive offers an opportunity to connect, grow, and experience dance in one of Europe’s most vibrant cities, Barcelona.

January 17–18, 2026 Contemporary Floorwork & Improvisation Workshop by ADDA This two-day workshop offers clear and practical tools to help you create, collaborate, and confidently participate in choreographic processes.
Duration: 2 days (12 hours total)
Price: 185€

You will develop the ability to understand and navigate creative pathways, explore diverse methods of improvisation, and experience how we approach movement and creation here at ADDA.

What you will gain:

  • Experience how ADDA approaches movement, creation, and artistry.
  • Complement your contemporary training with daily ballet to refine your technique and movement quality.

The workshop also includes two personalized mentoring sessions with the Director: focused on mindset, confidence, and artistic presence and career mentoring.

Location

The Intensive takes place at ADDA Studios in Barcelona, offering 500 m² of spacious facilities designed for rehearsal, creation, and experimentation.

Beyond classes, participants can explore Barcelona’s vibrant culture and enjoy an enriching experience.

Frequently Asked Questions

What level is required?+
The workshops are intended for intermediate to advanced dancers. Your level will be evaluated through the video material submitted in your audition form — go ahead and share your video!
What language are the classes taught in?+
Classes are taught in English.
What should I bring?+
Comfortable dancewear and socks, a water bottle, and a small towel. We also recommend bringing a notebook for notes, snacks for the day, and a lunch tupperware.
Are spots limited?+
Yes, spots are limited. We recommend registering early to secure your spot.
Can I bring my luggage to the studio?+
Yes, you can store your luggage safely at the studio if needed. This way, you can head straight to the airport once the workshop finishes.
What is your cancellation or change policy?+
Registrations are non-refundable under any circumstances. However, name changes are accepted up to 7 days before the start date, subject to availability. The new participant will be required to submit a video audition, as acceptance depends on meeting the required level.
Do you offer accommodation recommendations?+
Accommodation is not included, but after registration, we’ll provide recommendations to help you find a convenient place to stay during the workshop.
